“Freedom”, born Luca Meucci, came into the world some springs ago in the beautiful surroundings of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.

His passion for singing began at an early age, largely inspired by the encouragement and unwavering support of his mother, who introduced him to the magic of music through an iconic red record player. It was through that record player that his lifelong love of music first took shape.

However, turning his passion into a profession proved challenging. For many years, music remained a cherished dream rather than a career. Yet Luca never gave up.

In December 2021, a life-changing encounter finally presented “Freedom” with the opportunity to transform his aspirations into reality and rewrite his story.

The man who would help shape his destiny was Alessandro Bentivoglio, who, together with the other members of the band, would give Luca the opportunity to take centre stage and receive the recognition his talent had long deserved.

In autumn 2022, Freedom released his first original single, “Quell’Emozione”, produced by Alessandro Bentivoglio for Euda Music.

Several original songs followed, enriching his musical repertoire, including “Ricordo” and “Fratello Mio”, a heartfelt tribute to Italian military personnel who lost their lives during international peacekeeping operations.

A major milestone came with the release of his debut digital EP, “Perché No”, featuring eight original tracks written, produced, and arranged by his artistic mentor, Alessandro Bentivoglio.

The year 2023 brought further artistic recognition. Freedom released another original single, “Siamo un Miracolo”, made a special appearance at the prestigious Premio Mia Martini, and launched the summer single “Dimmi Se”, which received considerable appreciation from both critics and audiences.

During the same year, he also recorded cover versions of two internationally renowned songs, including “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You”, famously performed by George Benson and interpreted by numerous artists worldwide.

What makes Freedom’s interpretation particularly distinctive is his Italian-language adaptation, “Niente Cambierà il Mio Amor per Te”, which preserves the emotional meaning and spirit of the original lyrics.

May 2024 marked a defining moment in his artistic journey, when he secured a significant role in “Magic Music Show”, a two-act musical production.

Following the release of his single “Un Fiume in Piena di Parole” and his interpretation of José Feliciano’s “Me Has Echado al Olvido”, the success of the musical opened the door to an exciting new chapter.

It was during the production of “Magic Music Show” that Freedom met Giulia Gasperetti, a fellow cast member whose artistic connection with Luca would become instrumental in the creation of a new musical project.

Inspired by this encounter and strengthened by the confidence gained through the musical, Freedom pursued the development of ANGELS, securing the production of its first season under the artistic direction of Alessandro Bentivoglio.

Today, in 2026, ANGELS stands at the beginning of its third season.

Over the years, the project has experienced numerous transformations. Performers have changed, songs have evolved, setlists have been reinvented, costumes have been redesigned, and time has moved forward.

Yet one thing has remained unchanged: the passion, dedication, commitment, and sense of responsibility that Freedom brings to ANGELS.

A true lion at heart, he continues to face every new challenge with the same determination that has defined his entire musical journey.

And somewhere, that iconic red record player is still spinning.
