SUNSET

“Sunset”, born Giusy Salierno, came into the world some years ago in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy.

Music and singing have always been among her greatest passions, surpassed only by her profound love and dedication to her family and children.

Balancing these two essential parts of her life was never an obstacle, but rather an enormous mountain to climb.

What she initially imagined would be just a few years of patience and temporary sacrifice gradually turned into a much longer journey. Each passing year brought new responsibilities, unexpected challenges, and inevitable postponements, repeatedly delaying the moment when Sunset could finally step into the spotlight and pursue her artistic ambitions.

Yet her passion never faded.

The turning point finally arrived in early 2023, when circumstances began to fall into place, allowing Giusy to take her first significant steps towards fulfilling her musical aspirations.

Under the guidance of a professional vocal coach, she enrolled in singing courses at the Taylor Academy, beginning a new chapter dedicated to vocal development, artistic growth, and personal expression.

In 2025, her determination was rewarded with her first major artistic opportunity.

With her debut original song, “Pepi”, Sunset secured a place among the finalists of the prestigious “New York Canta” music competition, earning the opportunity to perform in its final stage.

That same year, she released “Parole al Vento”, an original song written by Giusy herself, published through Pleiadi Communication and produced by Med Music.

This release represented another important milestone in her development as both a singer and songwriter, highlighting her ability to transform personal emotions and experiences into music.

Also in 2025, she appeared at “Sanremo Live Box” in Sanremo, during the celebrations surrounding the renowned Sanremo Italian Song Festival, further expanding her artistic experience and visibility.

A decisive encounter would soon open the door to an entirely new musical adventure.

In 2025, Freedom (Luca Meucci), a member of ANGELS, discovered Giusy's talent through a mutual acquaintance and introduced her to Alessandro Bentivoglio, Artistic Director and Producer of the project.

At the time, Bentivoglio was actively auditioning female vocalists for inclusion in the live entertainment productions represented by his booking and artist management network.

Recognising her vocal potential, stage presence, and artistic personality, he immediately welcomed her into the ANGELS project.

Sunset became the final and indispensable member of the group, completing its artistic line-up and bringing her distinctive voice, personality, and energy to the ensemble.

Her arrival marked another significant stage in the evolution of ANGELS, contributing to the richness and versatility of its musical performances.

Towards the end of 2025, Giusy entered the recording studio to begin work on her first collection of original songs.

These recording sessions led to the creation of “Dentro la Corrente”, an album produced by Euda Music and scheduled for release in February 2026.

The project represents the culmination of years of perseverance, artistic dedication, and an unwavering belief in the power of pursuing one's dreams.

For Sunset, music is more than a passion. It is a personal achievement, a source of freedom, and proof that determination can transform even the longest wait into a remarkable new beginning.

And one final detail worth remembering:

If you ever invite Sunset to dinner and want to make absolutely sure she stays happy, there is one guaranteed way to win her heart:

Serve her a delicious Parmigiana!
